Made to be used, not shelved. Warm soapy water and a soft cloth; it will take on a quiet patina with time.

Dishwasher and microwave safe. Avoid the sudden shock of very cold to very hot — stoneware prefers a gentler change.

Small variations in the glaze and rim are the record of a pair of hands, not a fault. Each is fired only once.
